Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division of the UFC. She won with a TKO in the second round, and was able to take home two subsequent bouts in the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on kickboxing. She returned against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa in a unanimously-decided match, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She resigned from the organization and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina showed off her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera with knees. Antonina's UFC contract was extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight by an unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from her defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the prize of the night in the fight. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn as well as Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, and was also defeated by Ariane.
